I am in no way judging her. I am commenting on her situation and talking about how dire it looks to be.

I’ve been there, although not in the public eye, so I have every understanding of where she is at.

That was actually the whole point of my post.

I am trying to stay in the solution of this very important problem in today’s society. I think that to make these kind of human struggles in the public’s eye can be a great hinderance to any of our recovery efforts. Please consider this woman’s immaturity before passing judgement. As long as she can follow a 12-step path she has nothing to fear-not even negative publicity.

Yea, the media keep up that hairon and addiction mystique of the tortured cool-ass artist by suggesting her lyrics wont be as great if she gets clean. Agreed — they obviously have never tried to get clean — what could possibly lend for more soulful lyrics than THAT struggle?
