hey chica,
just joined the site. i have 3 years 9 months, but I feel like a newcomer. My drug of choice ( this last time) was alcohol and food. I used to be a meth head over 20 years ago…. but I stayed on the marijuana and alcohol maintenance program.
Anyway I joined because for some reason I have been feeling more alone than ever lately. I go to three meetings a week, I do service, I pray, I meditate, I read the 24 hour book, the big book, I co-lead a 12 step study… I don’t know what more to do short of quitting my life and making 12 step recovery my full time job!!!
I desire and fear closeness with others at exactly the same velocity!!! i was wondering if you had any hope around this???
