Thank you for your insightful words. I believe you are helping quite a few people, including me, with your blog.

I appreciate your comment on staying in the moment. It's really all we have, as far as our ability to impact our world, inner and outer. I have found that for me, being open to change is important, as is being open to things staying the same when I want them to change; so I suppose I believe that staying open to what is, is so crucial to sanity and sobriety. Life is full of paradox, and if I get used to it life can be good no matter what. It's like what I heard recently, the only prayer that matters is "Thanks". Best to you and all who read this blog.

Hi!

I just wanted to thank you for your blog. Today has been a little difficult. Not because of anything bad that's going on. It's just that I've been allowing my addict to speak to me. I'm sure you know what I mean.

It's funny how we can take small situations in life and create this grandiose mindset in our minds that tell us that we are the worst person IN THE WORLD.

Reading your posts helped me feel less alone. And I'm thinking I can make it through this day.

Have a wonderful day!

Wow, it sounds like things are going really well for you. That's awesome. What's your new career all about?

Also, yeah, change is a bitch. I don't even like to drive a different way to work, let alone have major life changes. But then when they happen it's almost always for the good...so there you have it.
