It is easier to compare ourselves to others and question why we have not, than to look at what we have and what we can do to improve our lot. I fall prey to this all the time, wasting my time over what they have when I could be working on what I want. I believe it is the nature of our disease- the eternal search for the magic bullet, the plug that fills the hole, the "purpose" in life when in reality all we have to do, is what winners do.
